I was in the area and remembered that they had gluten free fish and chips. I haven't been in quite some time. It is nicely renovated and offers seating now. I got take out this time.
It did not disappoint. My meal was fantastic.

Gluten free/dairy free fish and chips at it's best. These folks have done their homework on allergies.Friendly, inviting and knowledgeable, this is a must visit for anyone with food allergies. Awesome job

Gluten free fish and chips...I need not say more.
However, Trip Advisor will not accept a short review. Took my friend to have the first fish n chips since her diagnosis of a gluten allergy 11 years ago...she was so happy. Give this family place a try...you will not be disappointed.

An incredibly frustrating place to visit for dinner.

I was told that they "cannot accept" their own gift card, even though it was sold to my family member (they had no problem taking the money when it was purchased, but apparently trying to redeem it is a challenge) and is still advertised on their website. Then, after that exchange, I was sent home with my order missing a couple of items. Perhaps if the staff spent less time standing around talking they could accurately pack an order. Did not expect a mistake since I was the only customer present.

It's really not even worth the headaches as the food is simply satisfactory. If you're looking for good fish and chips there are a few places in Oshawa that provide much better service.

We have been in Courtice a little while now and I am always looking for a great fish and chip place. The family stopped in the plaza and we decided to get dinner because our kitchen was under renovations. My wife and oldest daughter went to Mr. Sub but our youngest and myself saw this fish and chip special so we decided to go in and try it. We both got the one piece fish and chips and chatted to the woman behind the counter. I told her we are newer to the area and she welcomed us into the store and thanked us for coming in. Dipped the fish right in front of us and fried it up along with some chips. Wrapped in up in newspaper and told us she hoped to see us again soon. We got home and couldn't wait to eat. So good! My daughter devoured the fish and chips which she is more of a slow eater but said she loved it. I also found everything to be great. Definitely going to be returning for seconds!
