Very interesting collection of paintings. Small gallery with an interactive section for children. Good place to take children for March break.

“Lovely gallery and wonderful event space!”
Reviewed 4 January 2017

We've visited the gallery several times and even held our wedding here. It's a beautiful spot, the exhibits are well done, and the staff are great to work with for event planning.

“Convenient & Testeful”
Reviewed 19 December 2016

Art museums are so often a struggle to visit, not just parking but location, they're commonly buried in the heart of a huge city. Not this one! Easy to access, easy to drop off and pickup people at the front door, parking very close.

The gallery itself is fresh and well lit, has a good core collection, is always involving contemporary artists and is a nice place to step away from the scruff of everyday life.

“Very Small”
Reviewed 4 November 2016

This is a very small gallery so please do not try to compare it to the downtown Toronto ones. It is always clean and well maintained and most of the time very few people if any in the gallery. It has extra services like framing that you can have done there.

“Great Art Collection”
Reviewed 15 September 2016

The RMG seems to be a secret in Oshawa! For such a thriving and growing community, the RMG seems to be a welcomed surprise to those who discover it for the first time. Good collection of masters old and new, good collection of Canadian art, great venue for art shows and First Fridays music bring in such good energy. For Kids --- they have so much activity and camps for families and kids alike. Come visit.
