The girls and I simply love this quaint little wooden hut of decadent and delicious beaver tail wonders. A true Canadian Landmark and one of the original homes of the infamous Canadian beaver tail. A donut type dough smothered with any number of your favourite guilty pleasure toppings from milk chocolate rolled in pecans or white chocolate with almonds. Peanut butter or hazelnut or perhaps Nutella is your fancy. Whatever your desire there's sure to be a menu item for you, the kids and grandma. I should know, the girls and I are regulars enjoying the delights of downtown market often.

You can't leave Ottawa without having tried a Beaver Tail. These deep fried pastries (that resemble a beaver tail) are crispy with a choice of toppings. My favourite is the Killaloe Sunrise.....sprinkled with lemon and sugar/cinnamon. Great family treat on the go!

Very nice crap like deserts are prepared including various ingredients such as chocolate, banana, apple, etc. hot craps taste fantastic. I tried chocolate+banana and really impressed.

Beaver tails: one of the necessities in Ottawa to experience. The ByWard market location is a great central location and always fresh!

Never had a Beavertail before and couldn't leave Canada without trying. These were really great, hot and tasty. I went for chocolate banana. If I was here longer I would definitely return.
