I went with the whole family, I have to say that it's absolutely a must see, anyone will find something interesting (children to grand-parents).

If you have any interest in the Canadian military or life during wartime, this is a great place to go. There is so much to see that you can spend the entire day there. The calibre of the exhibits is as good as those in any international capital city such as London. For those that just like large vehicles there is a big section just on equipment.

They put a lot of efforts into this museum. It is incredible. It flows from display to display and just a nice easy way to learn history. The only thing I made sure to avoid was taking my young son into a room where there were very graphic pictures of holocaust murders with bodies piled on bodies. Even I find it hard to take, just beware with young children.

Go, listen, and learn. There are veterans who volunteer throughout the museum and provide incredible amounts of information about each exhibit. The museum is set up beautifully as well.

This is a very good museum. It is a Canadian war museum. It goes through early Canadian history and the conflicts with the natives and then others, the french, the spanish the english. There are pictures and displays everywhere. Follow the path and you will see and read and touch all the displays. There is something for everyone. There are planes and tanks and guns, uniforms of every description and medals and surgical instruments and you can feel the pain just looking at these items. Battles are vividly described. There are many tanks on display and military vehicles of every description. Like to see the cannons from war ships in the early ages of exploration - they got 'em. We were there about 4 hours and I felt totally rushed. Go with no kids and take your time - you will be glad you did. We are going back this year. What ever the price it is worth it. Enjoy.
