This a great place for pub food, burgers, sandwiches, beers.
A few burger options, fish and chips, sandwiches, wraps and good beer choices.
You get decent service and the waitresses are friendly, nice and helpful.
Prices have gone up while the neighbouring places are better for prices like The Wood, O'Donnels etc.

I met a friend for a bite and a drink here. I've always liked the cozy, laid back feel of the venue. Our drinks were great, unfortunately my burger left me bedridden for the next 2 days. I suspect it was from the soggy looking toppings, or perhaps the beef wasn't fully cooked through. Nevertheless, I won't be returning for food at this venue.

Considering the place is a Pub, the food is okay. Staff are nice and friendly. The smokers always loitering by the entrance and exit are a shame and ruins the experience if not deters people from entering.

This is a wonderful place to go for a drink with friends. Service is inconsistent but who cares, you are with friends. But . . . then when's comes to the food menu, forget it: overpriced and poor quality. Locations like these will not survive over the long term. "Gourmet Sandwiches" at $16.00 or more that are nothing better than a basic homemade sandwich with a few lukewarm fries will not do it. Just like "Don Cherry's" the Royal Oaks will not survive if they don't start to understand that their customers are willing to pay for quality fare but will not accept being taken for granted.

We popped in for a late lunch on a Thursday. Not too busy. We got burgers and pints. Burgers were good, which I'm glad because mine was $17.50. So it's a little overpriced. The place was clean and service was decent.
