The choices at Piccolo Grande are great. It is always a summertime favourite of ours when we go to the market in Ottawa.
Great gelato place! Good location near parliament at Byward Market. Nice service. Clean bathroom. Pistachio, amaretto and dark chocolate with orange were all really good.
Very good quality gelato. The lemon and coconut were my favourites by far. Service one day was fantastic but the next we were met by a very surly somewhat rude person but the gelato is very very good and i am a gelato fiend.
This is the 3rd place I tried in Ottawa to find the quality of gelato I experienced in Italy. Piccolo Grande is grande in selection and taste. Prices are reasonable.
The only problem is the outside signage has to be made more visible.
