located close to main attractions yet far enough away to enjoy a relaxing end of a long day homecooked meal, swim, playground and fire. the unit we stayed in (two bedroom unit a) was spacious (we are a family of 5) clean and comfortable. the on site store had milk, ketcup(at a reasonable price) and others things you may need and there is a sobey's store close by for all your needs. a short distance from the park you will find a lovely neighbourhood to enjoy a short or long walk / bike ride or take the nature trail (which we didn't do)...best of all (according to the kids) was the huge pool which is deep enough to swim in and shallow enough for toddlers/babies. would like to go again as a couple to do the wine tour

Room Tip: bring a dish cloth and towel and paper towels ...otherwise everything we needed was provided

We stayed in the 28 foot 1.5 bedroom RV. This was our first time RV-ing and only our second time camping as a family. If you like to camp but don't like sleeping on the floor of a tent, Niagara RV might be the right choice for you. This site at Shalimar Lake had something for every member of the family; outstanding, clean, refreshing pool, a well stocked variety store & the staff at Niagara RV were very helpful, friendly & accommodating. We will stay here again!

Room Tip: Make your plans and book early!

We stayed here in a two bedroom A unit and it was great! We were traveling with our two young children and there was enough room for them to play. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. It was convenient to have a full kitchen and also the shower/mini tub in the bathroom. All of the staff was also so kind and helpful. We would stay here again!

Allan and Fred were very helpful and friendly and showed us around the trailer and told all about the park. Allan also provided loads of information about Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. the trailer was well equipt and the kids enjoyed the separate bedroom with bunkbeds. We did not use the BBQ, but it was available on the deck if we wanted. The pool facilities at the park were excelent for families.

This the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet place to stay while exploring the Niagara region. You are just minutes from major attactions yet are able to "camp" in style! The RV's are amazingly spacious, clean and equipped with dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils and pots and pans. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The pool is huge and staffed at all times. There is a large field equipped with a playground. On weekends there are a variety of different events you can choose to join if you wish. The seasonal tennants are very welcoming and friendly. We are a family of five with a 13, 7 and 9 month old. The RV accomodated all of us comfortably and there was something for everyone to do, we actually didn't need to leave the park at all! Shopping was only 10 minute drive, grocery store, phamarcy ,bank, LCBO everything you need. The onsite store is well stocked and even has ice cream sundaes for that little evening treat. There is an arcade for rainy days and a very clean modern laundromat. Overall we were extremely pleased with all aspects of the campground and loved the fact that after a day of sightseeing we could go back to our airconditioned RV and barbeque, go for a swim and relax by our own campfire. Our only regret is that our vacation was too short none of us were ready to leave after the week was over and we are definelty planning on stay for at least two weeks next summer!

The stay at the campground was excellent. From the time we arrived the service was excellent. We arrived ahead of time and the place was ready for us even when they didn't expect us until the afternoon. From the moment we got there the staff was of great pleasure to be around and very helpful with all the local areas and recommendations on what to visit and how to get there in the shortest time frames and routes that helped. The place was well maintained and the staff was very curtious to everyone. The only downfall of the stay was the gate that let people in. They could have maybe a better system for the people that stays more than a weekend. We recommend maybe some kind of pass card to open the gate ,rather than having to use tokens , wich they ran out of on the second day we where there. Also maybe have more signs posted on how to get there from all directions of the Highways .
