What can I say? Moved here 6 months ago and drove past this plaza thinking it was a bit 'dumpy'. My parents tried it and recommended it, now I won't go anywhere else. Price: reasonable; Quality: I haven't had piece of halibut that thick since being in New Brunswick. Haddock a good size piece. Chips they do extra crispy if you need. Pleasant owners serving. The place is CLEAN, TIDY, ORGANISED, menus on the chalkboard are legible! Crowded at lunch with kids from local high school gorging on poutine. Changes: needs to push the municipallity to let him put chairs/bench/covered seating, even if only seasonal (the benches outside are flimsy, and have a large wasp-drawing garbage bin in between them.
Forgot they have a great range of salads. Value AND Quality.... and I'm very pick about fish and chip places.
Next equivalent, perhaps a bit better due to atmosphere only ( a full sit down restaurant with beer, so not really a good comparison) is Olde York Fish and Chips on Laird St., Toronto.
