What can I say? Moved here 6 months ago and drove past this plaza thinking it was a bit 'dumpy'. My parents tried it and recommended it, now I won't go anywhere else. Price: reasonable; Quality: I haven't had piece of halibut that thick since being in New Brunswick. Haddock a good size piece. Chips they do extra crispy if you need. Pleasant owners serving. The place is CLEAN, TIDY, ORGANISED, menus on the chalkboard are legible! Crowded at lunch with kids from local high school gorging on poutine. Changes: needs to push the municipallity to let him put chairs/bench/covered seating, even if only seasonal (the benches outside are flimsy, and have a large wasp-drawing garbage bin in between them.
Forgot they have a great range of salads. Value AND Quality.... and I'm very pick about fish and chip places.
Next equivalent, perhaps a bit better due to atmosphere only ( a full sit down restaurant with beer, so not really a good comparison) is Olde York Fish and Chips on Laird St., Toronto.

Do not go here. The fish and fries were soooo greasy, it was actually seeping through the bag. The oil was not at the right temperature causing the fish batter to be soggy and gross! While waiting there were dance moms in there with their yoga bodies, I'm not sure how they will keep their bodies in shape with all of that nasty grease!!!

This is our goto place for fish and chips. The fish etc is always cooked how you request it and there are plenty of alternatives to select from, plus they have Mushy Peas to round out the British flavour.

Friendly staff and excellent value for money. The two piece fish and chips easily feeds my wife and myself. The fish pieces are so big they are put in a separate box from the fries. Nice homemade salads to complete the mill.

Amazing Fish and very friendly staff. They always welcome you with smiles, and takes the time to remember you when you go there.
Very nice family ran and owned place
.
The fish is very big and thick. Batter is just the right amount on the fish, it is not overly coated. Nothing beats a nice crisp batter for a fish fry.
Fries are fresh cut, and I believe they are cooked to order as they always taste fresh.
Only thing I wish they did, since it is only take out is to add something to absorb some of the oils from the fish sitting in the box. I think that would take it to the next level and keep the fish perfect.

We use to go to another place in st. Catharines and for some reason their standards have declined. Now this place is my number one. Give this a shot, and I promise you that you will call this place the go to for fish and chips.
