We were here on Christmas Eve. We did make a reservation, (we were unsure how busy it would be). We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, and seated promptly. The best surprise I got was that they have Champagne Cocktails! Other than the Champagne Cocktail, they have a good range of cocktails, and a great wine list. The service was attentive without being in your face, the steaks devine, and sauces superb! The only thing that was disappointing was the baked potato. It seemed as though the potato was cooked in the microwave. All in all the evening was wonderful, the service above awesome, and the food, exceptional. It is a bright open room, that feels cozy and welcoming. Thank you for opening such a wonderful restaurant!

I have dined here 3 times and was pleased all three times. The oysters on Friday & Saturday nights are the best deal in town and they usually have 3 varieties.

Décor on the main level is upscale industrial but on the half level at the back it looks unfinished.

Pages and pages of ales listed. I loved the champagne cocktail, paired perfectly with the oysters.

The Prime Rib was excellent and the baked potato was ginormous.

The restaurant (downstairs) is very hip, clean lined, industrial. Wheelchair accessible and a bathroom on the main floor which I was thankful of because some restaurants in town; the loo is in the basement.
At the back is a raised platform with 10 or 12 tables. Large windows overlooking the parking lot at the rear and the police station. The huge gas fireplace was nice but I wouldn't sit right beside it. I found the television in a very inappropriate place back there, this isn't a sports bar however, there are 3 tv's over the bar area at the front. It was an unfortunate place here because invariably men, as they are wont to do, would watch the thing instead of talking to their dates so the date would be tap tapping on their phone, very sad. The walls looked unfinished to me, missing some crown moulding, quarter round and a bit of colour would pop it or even mirrors on either side of the fire.

I was enticed by the "buck a shuck" on Friday & Saturday evenings. 3 varieties of oysters and they go so well with a Champagne Cocktail. Served with freshly grated horseradish, a nice mignonette but also a green sauce that is spicy hot.

The Ahi Tuna with avocado is very good, I would have said perfect but the chillies overpower it and makes for an unpleasant after glow.
The Beef Carpaccio is served in a jar with a fork stuck upright in it, reminiscent of King Arthur's sword. I was not particularly pleased with this dish, thought there was too much acid, flavours did not mingle well and it was overpriced.
Looking forward to next time and will try the escargot fricassee, the shrimp tempura and maybe the lobster mac & cheese and of course.... more oysters.

The prime rib is fabulous and if you order it rare... it comes rare !
I suggest a side of mashed potatoes, you will not be disappointed, soooo good. A woman seated beside me got the baked potato, looked like a 4 pound russet but she ate it all.

Two very good reds by the glass, a merlot and a gamay available in 2 sizes.
They are serious about their ales, quite a few on offer.

The Black Forest Chocolate cake is, in my opinion, the best dessert menu item I have had thus far.
