The Chisholms in Stratford is a lovely B&B within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes) of all the Stratford theaters and restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated, if somewhat cluttered without a great deal of room to unpack but, for a typically short visit, this is not much of an issue. The quiet refrigerators with complementary soft drinks are a nice touch as is the coffee maker, always available. Each room has a flat screen TV, DVD player, wireless internet, ceiling fans, telephones plus nice touches like fresh chocolates and other candies.
The two front bedrooms receive a fair amount of street noise but not overly so and even this quiets down after midnight.
Breakfast is served once, at a time set to accommodate the visitors. It is an excellent multi-course breakfast which, for some, will be too much food and spread over too much time but, for others, will be a quiet, slow-paced and pleasant beginning of the day and one which may allow lunch to be nothing more than a very small snack.
We have stayed at The Chisholms twice and have been happy with the experiences.More
