I was in Toronto 3 days for holidays and I stayed in Garden Inn B&B. The location was good but the area very bad. Indeed the structure is located near the centre, at only 3 tram stops (or 5mins walk) from Dundas Square, one of the main live spots in Toronto, it is very easy to move from there. On the other side, the area where the structure is located is very bad, with a lot of toxic and drunk people around..it's not dangerous but not very nice to walk there, especially during the night. The place itself is quite old but nice. The room has an old decoration but the bed was good, and there is TV and DVD player inside. The bathroom was really a problem: since there is no sink in the room, you need to share your bathroom with the other guests and sometimes you have to wait for the others to finish just to brush your teeth.
The breakfast was very good, there is a big variety of food and drinks and the kitchen is very spacious.
The owner is very kind, actually he doesn't live there but he's always available by phone or email in case you need any help.

What a charming, comfortable, clean and welcoming bed and breakfast! I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Toronto Garden Inn. The Victorian house will have you daydreaming, whether at breakfast or on break in the study room. The location is quiet, yet central. The innkeepers especially attentive and helpful; I really appreciated the suggestion to purchase a city parking permit for the car. I highly recommend the inn!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Trillium room on the top floor, which was very quiet, spacious and has its own terr...

A really wonderful B&B. Very close to the city centre, but also close to public transportation to travel further afield. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. The house had a very relaxed atmosphere and Ergin was incredibly helpful. Would highly recommend!

I’m a professional from California who stayed at the Toronto Garden Inn for 9 weeks in 2011 while I was working in Toronto. The owner, Ergin is a great innkeeper and really tries hard to make sure people have an enjoyable stay in Toronto. It’s located in downtown Toronto and a great place to stay to enjoy urban living. While I was there, many types of people both young and old came to stay, including regulars who come 2-3 times per year. It is a safe place to live, there were families and older people visiting the city as well as young women who stayed there while doing internships. The Inn is an informal and comfortable old home on tree lined Seaton Street where many of the nearby Victorian homes have been restored. Not having a car, I walked everywhere. The downtown financial center at Bay and King is a brisk 25 minute walk. The cross street, Dundas St. is a main thoroughfare with very accessible streetcar service and nearby there are luxury hotels at Dundas and Jarvis. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Yonge – Dundas Square and Toronto Eaton Centre. Toronto Garden Inn is very clean and the rooms are well heated and made up every day. The continental breakfast provided is always neat and well stocked including fresh fruit every day. It was fun to talk to the other guests who were interesting people visiting from other parts of Canada and countries like Germany, the US, Australia and Puerto Rico. I look forward to staying at the Toronto Garden Inn when I return to Toronto in 2012.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are nice. Since it was originally a single family home the rooms are different size...

I stayed 2 nights at Toronto Garden Inn. The owner Ergin was so helpful from the beginning. He responsed all my emails to make sure he will be taking care the guests well. After I arrived to the B&B, Ergin was always available for my questions, and I enjoyed very much talking to him about the life of Toronto. The location is just 15min from the popular spot- the square by the street bus. If you want to go to the quiet town " the beach" , I found the easy way to get there from the B&B. It takes 30-40min by the street bus, you will be on the beach with nice walk pass. Also I made a good friend at B&B:)

We stayed at the Inn for 9 nights. It was wonderful. Ergin, the Inn manager was very down to earth, helpful and friendly. The Inn is equipped with a full kitchen where we were able to prepare dinners with amazing produce finds from stands all throughout Toronto. They provided anything you would need for a hearty breakfast every morning. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean. Unlimited access to internet. A book and DVD library. It was a pleasure coming "home" every night.

Room Tip: The room downstari is very spacious but its right by the kitchen where there is more traffic. All th...

What a wonderful week I spent in Toronto and I can only say I was so lucky in finding such suitable accommodation i.e. Toronto Garden Inn. I never imagined one could find a B & B in Toronto and to find such a clean, friendly and homely atmosphere I felt like it was home. Ergin was a super host and ensured his guests were provided with every possible convenience and he certainly didn't spare the heating. Very comfortable room, ideal location within walking distance of downtown Toronto. Hope to return in the next few months and will certainly book well in advance THE TORONTO GARDEN INN.

Room Tip: Book well in advance.
