The food here is superb. It's quite likely the best Mexican restaurant in Canada. I'm not exaggerating.

Take the sausages, for instance. They're made in-house, from tip-to-tail. The tamales are made in house, too--and it takes hours. The birra (meat soup) is superb. It is a spicy, rich, umame soup served with tortillas and fresh herbs. Astounding.

The owner is lovely and community-minded. (She runs a food bank on her day off.) The prices are fair. The service is kind. Top marks.

The food is delicious and authentic. The menu is varied. The staff are helpful.
I loved the pozole and the sopes. Can't wait to try the enmoladas!

Soooo good! Tried this place for lunch, we had the chip with guacamole, tortilla soup, quesadilla with chorizo and carnitas tacos. Everything was so yummy! People were really nice. Full of Mexican people, but just a tiny place with literally four tables and a couple of bar-style seats. Really good food, not the Tex-mex stuff!

I've been excited to try this place - looks authentic. It was really terrible. I ordered delivery, and the tacos arrived a huge jumbled soggy mess, it was actually not edible. And the pork taco... there were actually hard bits throughout that you have to spit out - not just one or two, but 3-4 per mouthful. I really did not enjoy this food. Incredibly the prices are the same as this city's top taco places.

Small place but with flavour and quality mexican food. Staff tries their best to you feel welcome. Good burrito and spice sauces.
