“Nice building, well done exhibits, a bit pricey”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

The building is really interesting (albeit a bit controversial) and I would say far more attractive inside than outside. I didn't spend long here - it was a last minute idea when my mom was in town so we squeezed it in. Their furniture and Canadian history exhibits were lovely and I am sure there was more to discover in the endless museum.

The only downside: hefty admission price. My mom and I caught the Wednesday after 3:30pm free entrance so it was great for us but I am hesitant to cough up the admission + special exhibit fee. There is also a half price Friday afternoon special, so that may be worth it as well.

This is a great place to take kids and yet also appeals to adults. Educational and always great shows like the Dead Sea Scrolls

“Quick visit”
Reviewed 6 March 2012

We didn't have a lot of time but we really enjoyed it. The signage could have been more clear. It seemed we spent a lot of time trying to find the right elevator. There was a huge incredibly loud school group there. Luckily we were able to see the Mayan exhibit while they were eating lunch. That alone was worth the price. Lunch at the restaurant was pricey but good.

“Seen better - seen worse.”

Pretty average as far as museums go. Some interesting art but you have to look at everything .
