so many things to do. if the weather is nice and you enjoy being outdoors, high park is a haven in the midst of urban toronto. there is a leash free zone for pets and owners, parks with jungle gyms and a splash pool for kids, trails, an outdoor zoo. i would highly recommend high park for something to do in spring summer and autumn.

This is a beautiful park, has some of the oldest trees in Toronto. It had a beautiful play ground for children and recently some 19 year old idiot set fire to it.

With just a short distance away from the downtown Toronto, High Park is a little escape from the city. The Maple Leaf garden and the reflection of the pond are refreshing in the hustle and bustle city. It is a joy to walk, jog, hike or bike in the tranquil High Park. One of the highlights is the High Park Zoo, which will cease the operation beyond June 2012 if no further investment or donation given. Pay a visit ASAP. Though the zoo is not big, this would be a pity if the zoo does discontinue since it is quite educational and loved by family. Hope to see the Cherry blossom when the season comes.
