I took my mother and grandmother here during their summer visit. We did quite a bit of walking to get from the Bloor St entrance to High Park Zoo. There were many people in the park exercising, some alone and others in groups. The air was so fresh and the grassy surroundings were a welcome distinction from concrete and skyscrapers. The zoo animals were entertaining. The view of the great lake was spectacular. It was really a great place to spend a peaceful and relaxing evening. I had previously been to High Park, when the water fountains were in order and that too was a beautiful sight.

It is one of the well know parks in toronto. It's is huge. It's very popular in late April and early May for the cherry blossoms. It has a great playground that famous Mike Holmes rebuilt. It's a great place for couples on a date or families out for a picnic. It also has a small zoo for kiddos.

I always like to go there every year because its so pretty doesn't matter its winter. Good to go there with family members.
