The location cant be beat. Lots of shopping, food options, starbucks and subway literally right there. ATM in lobby as well! Important to note that room service does not begin until after 5pm when the restaurant in the hotel opens. I attended a 3 day conference and also stayed in the hotel. I checked in a bit early and ended up with an "upgraded room" at the end of a hallway that had some issues but Sun at the front desk moved me to a higher floor with a King bed once i expressed my concerns. He also gave me a local map of the area along with some great tips about where to go and how to get there. Sun was a standout hence the title of the review. The hotel is a bit dated in some areas (bathrooms) were a bit small and awkward. The conference space and food however were great. the gym is small but has good view of the outside of front of hotel. The indoor pool is also a nice surprise. There is also a small sauna in the women's locker room (small towels provided). Worth staying at for location, front staff and water pressure in shower.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a detailed review. More than happy to note that Sun once again went over and above to ensure you were happy, thanks for recognizing his efforts.
Regards, Michael.

We had a chance to spend 3 nights in this hotel. Our room was on the 8th floor. The room was quiet. We did not hear noises from hallway or doors closing during our stay. The room was clean. The sink did have a mildew smell when the water start running.

Our stay included hotel breakfast. Hotel breakfast has 4-5 hot items, assortment of croissants, muffins, bread, milk, chocolate milk, sliced cucumber, cold cuts, fruit salad, fresh banana and oranges. It is better than the complimentary hotel breakfasts from Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn type of hotels.

The best part of this location is its location. It is less than a block from Yonge Street. It is close to metro stations, drug stores, Whole Foods, gym, many restaurants, bakeries, bubble tea, shaved ice. Many of the restaurants are small (20 seats or less) and serves Asian street foods.

Location, location, location. Said so often, you simply cannot get any better. Located right on Yonge in uptown, trendy North York. Directly on the subway , if you feel the need to go downtown. And why pay, downtown prices, check us out on novotel.com.
Thanks, Michael.

This location is close to shops, amazing restaurants, and the subway located right underneath. You can take the tunnel to the grocery store that has everything. Also the LCBO is located across he street. The Front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating

Room tip: Choose a room away from the elevator it can be noisy at this location

A colleague and I came for a conference, so this review doesn’t get at the hotel rooms. The desk staff were somewhat helpful - I had to specifically ask for directions to the conference room. The event staff were helpful and friendly, replenishing everything throughout the day. Food was tasty and plentiful. Room temperature was cold, which is typical for a conference centre. Not much noise came through neighbouring rooms.

Great to read of your conference success. Especially the food throughout the meeting... however i will get the team to look at the temperature, like everything today, computer controlled, we'll review the settings.
Thanks, Michael.

Convenient location but nothing remarkable

Noise from hallway louder than average and walls are thin

Breakfast buffet is pretty much as expected although the selection is limited

Point off for no shaving mirror in bathroom

Clean

"Basic", same as average!! Disappointing, I have never liked being average so we will work hard to improve.
Most of our rooms have an illuminated mirror, so a separate shaving mirror has become redundant, however maybe we should have some on request (?) I'll follow up and see if we have other requests.
Time to look at the breakfast buffet, I'm hoping you mean variety of choice from day to day, as the buffet is really well stocked and i think offers great value at $15.95 per person.
Thanks again, Michael.
