Can't speak to the steaks, as none in our party ordered one. But the seafood was great and authentically New Orleans in style. A special of crab cakes was wonderful and came with a little salad cleverly presented in a cucumber slice wrap. The cakes themselves were spicy and delicious and were served in a good remoulade sauce. Saefood gumbo was great and had just the right flavour, as did the entree of shrimp creole. A seafood pasta was properly al dente and loaded with goodies. Bananas foster was a good dessert but was not flambe'd at the table.

Intimate atmosphere but crowded - it is a small room so make reservations. Very considerate service and the owner is always present and solicitous.

No reservation, but we got there early so we got a table Saturday evening anyway.
Place is somewhat small but very comfortable and nicely finished.
Charming host, very good service, listened to requests for spicing and we got the food as we asked for it.
Appetizers of gumbos and salads and the main course fish dinners were excellent.
Free after dinner drinks.
Very highly recommended.

Six of us had dinner and enjoyed seafood, steaks, and Mike's worm hospitality. Gumbo, sea bass and banana fosters are my favourite.

The food is always tasty and fresh, Mike the owner is the perfect host and his wife is the chef (excellent) and I/we love going there.
The place is not very big but cozy and warm and I would recommend to make a reservation because they are always busy.

Tucked away in Etobicoke, this is a restaurant offering a good variety of Cajun cuisine. Mike the Owner and his wife Chef Mila can accommodate up to 42 guests, the decor is warm and cosy. This was our first time here, my husband and I were welcomed by a very friendly and polite gentleman at the door and later we found out he is the owner Mike. The background Jazz music was barely audible which is very pleasant.
We order our first course, the crab cakes and Caesar salad both were delicious, the salad had a well balanced favor and the crab cakes were light in texture and full of crab meat. So far it was a good start.
Second course: Jambalaya for two; was prepared in the Creole style with tomatoes, it is a hearty dish filled with andouille sausage, crawfish, shrimps, mussels, fish and chicken with hot cajun spices, took 30min. to prepare but it was worth the wait. The level of hot species could be increased if you preferred a little more adventure. The hot pan was presented on a bed of oregano on a wooden board that added an extra olfactory accompaniment to the feast for our eyes. It was four thumbs up. My glass of full body Italian red wine paired with this meal perfectly.
We shared our third course pecan tart for dessert, it was delightful not overly sweet; just right. As we were enjoying the evening, we had the opportunity to have a great conversation with Mike. We learned that their signature dry spices and tomato based New Orleans Creole sauce are available for home enjoyment at selected grocers. The brand name is " Creoleans ". I surely will look for them at the stores. In our world travel, we had enjoyed countless great local cuisine and services, this is a definitely a hidden gem in Toronto.
