“Not a place I go to often.”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

The Art Gallery of Ontario is a place I like to visit when they have displays of art from around the world. Cheaper than flying around the world to see them.

“So much to see...”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

One day is not enough! The gallery itself is an interesting, lovely building, with fine details and surprises around the corners. I enjoyed the Canadian galleries -- particularly Kerelek -- and the contemporary installations on the top floors. The model ships are a geek's delight, although they are not my thing. The only slight disappointment was how little First Nations carvings are on exhibit -- most of it seemed to be in a small basement store room, rather than on display. Other than that, a great collection, and a great way to spend a day.
