The most wonderful wine tour experience! It was my first time even going on a wine tour and I was beyond impressed. Our driver was so much fun and so informative. The wineries they selected were all so great and so different from one an other. Lunch was delicious and that winery where we ate was one of my favourites.
I bought a few bottles of wine that day, some cheeses, Red pepper Jelly, Olive oil + Vinegar and even a Christmas ornament made of corkscrews! This is definitely a tour you should book- I highly recommend it!

We had booked a private tour for our group of 8. Dougall was our host/guide/driver for the day and he showed up on time, a little early in fact. Dougall told up about the on-board provisions like coffee, tea and croissants. He even catered for the 3 in our group who are on a gluten free diet. After the usual struggle through Toronto traffic we arrived at our first winery. I can't remember the names of the wineries, but we were shown the grapevines, the ageing rooms and the grounds. Meanwhile our hostess told up about the history of wine making on the region, the history of the house winery and the owning family, and the wine making process. We then went into the tasting room where we were treated like old friends. The 2nd winery was a bit more formal, but treated us not only to wine, but also to cheese. The cheese farm they partner with had paired the wines with the cheeses which was not a entirely new concept, but very tasty. We then had lunch: Dougall took us to a winery / restaurant where we had a lovely 3-course lunch. The 3rd winery we went to looked very impressive, but there was no tour, just tasting. the final winery was the "leaning post winery" which is a small scale enterprise where we were shown around by one of the wine makers, who was very passionate about the winery and the wine making. we got to taste their wonderful wines, some of which were sold out for the season. Dougall drove us back through Toronto rush hour traffic, which wasn't easy, and that concluded a great day out.

Loved the wine tour! Great experience! Best way to tour Niagara's wineries. Very romantic for couples. Met some great folks on the tour. The wineries were each very interesting. Each a little unique and different in their own way. Very much worth the money, just sit back, ride and sample. We visited 4 wineries which also included a lunch at one of the wineries. 9 people were in our group. (Only downside is that I wish my husband and I could've sat beside each other on the ride to the wineries, but we were the last to board, so, we were on different seats...the ride from Toronto to Niagara can be long when your hubby is on a different row). I would indeed recommend this trip.

...if only they hadn't run out of a delish cheese at the Cheesy Guys! Our group of 18 used two vehicles for a brilliant day of wine tasting, learning, and an excellent lunch. The respective sub-groups (10 & 8) visited 6 varied wineries in different sequences, meeting up for lunch at the Silo Bistro (Aure). The 8+ hour excursion was executed flawlessly and on schedule. Our basic requirements were to minimize drive time, maximize winery time, and visit smaller / diverse destinations. 10 out of 10 on all objectives! WTT know the people at the wineries and are focused on providing an memorable experience from door-to-door. Highly recommended by all in our gang!

If you had told me a few months ago that Canada makes excellent wines, I wouldn't have believed you. But it's true! I was very excited to try all the different varieties of wines produced in the Niagara region of Canada and the wine tour was probably the best way to do it. Professional and efficient, our tour was what we wanted and more. We were picked up early with hot coffee and pastries and drove to the wine region in a comfortable van, with a small group, which made the trip very pleasant. Our guide was respectful, professional and very knowledgeable. And the wines were the best! The four vineyards we visited paired their wines with delicious local cheeses, taking the whole wine tasting experience to a new different level. Everyone was welcoming and shared their warm Canadian hospitality with us. A wonderful day and the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!!
