Owner description: The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

We visited the Distillery District last December by the time they were having the Christmas market and we were amazed! Everything is very well decorated (including a big Christmas tree they have in a central position at the district). You will also find lots of stands with local food and souvenirs as well as other restaurants. At that day we opted to have lunch at a sushi restaurant (I don’t remember the name of the place, but I remember that I did not like it - the sushi and the sashimi were tasty, but the service was below average). Overall, I highly recommend! and next time I will go just with the local food and won’t even pass in front of that sushi place!!

Thank Pedro M

Really liked how they have set-up this district - so quaint and nice. Lovely small stores and restaurants. Nice to sit around and enjoy the ambiance. Worth the visit.

Most bars do a sampler of 4 small beers which is good way to try different beers. Pretty part of town with some quirky shopping available too.

We walked here from the St Lawrence Market while visiting Toronto, but we learned when we arrived, they do have parking. We enjoyed walking on the old streets, there are galleries, shops & restaurants to enjoy. An enjoyable few hours to spend.
