The Toronto Entertainment District is a lively, pretty & fun part of town. Home to buzzing & trendy streets like John Street, this is a must visit during your trio to Toronto.

The shops, bars, clubs, cafes, restaurants, pretty sidewalks all make this place a beautiful place to walk along and spend some time sightseeing. Recommended!

We loved it here. Went to a concert, ball game and eat a lot of food! Ate at three different restaurants and the food and service were outstanding at each one. (Gretzky's, Boston Pizza and Gelato Pizza). Felt like we could have spent a lot more time exploring and wished we could have done Second City! GO HERE!!

In the Entertainment district you could spend a day a night a week exploring.
Clubs, cafes, shopping, theatres, restaurants, spas, hotels what ever you are looking for it will be there.
And the range of options gives everyone a choice. Parking is expensive so take the subway and walk or walk or the street car.
have fun, be safe, be polite.

Walked around this district for a few hours. Nice restaurants and clubs. Theaters showing live shows as well. Even Broadway shows. Mostly young locals enjoying their city.

Unless you really like being surrounded by douchbags stay away from the Entertainment District. It is filled with awful people and when the clubs close can be quite violent. Also stay away from King West.

Thank you for your feedback. The Toronto Entertainment District has undergone many positive changes in recent years. Intensified residential development, sustained commercial growth, and an increased number of large public events have all contributed positively to the evolution.

Our District is home to renowned attractions, major league sports, performing arts, prestige hotels, dynamic restaurants and much, much more. Visitors will continue to enjoy an unparalleled variety of outstanding cultural events as the Toronto Entertainment District evolves and progresses.

The Business Improvement Area, the Toronto Police Service and nightclub owners work together very closely finding ways to provide a safe, secure experience for all visitors. It is very encouraging that Toronto’s Entertainment District now offers a much more safe environment than comparable locales in large North American cities. Feedback is very important to us so please do continue to provide it.
