We came to this hotel after spending a night at Comfort Inn right next to it. Rates were better and the room is way more spacious so the hotel did not seem that bad in comparison to our terrible experience the night before. We stayed here for 2 nights. Wi-Fi connection was very bad especially at night. Breakfast is a joke. They only had bread, cheese and cereal. They ran out of juice and did not bother to refill even the next day! They lock up the coffee machine so you have no access to it throughout the day.

I wouldn't even recommend it for just a place to sleep since the pillows and mattress were not comfortable at all. The bed sheets were stained too so cleanliness is not all that great either.

I would not recommend and would not stay there again..

Location wasn't bad, but it was noisy.
Breakfast wasn't good and bathrooms weren't cleaned properly. Also, the internet connection was weak.
It wasn't the worst hotel, but for the price we payed we were expecting it to be better.

Decent hotel, room a little dirty and run-down. Parked about 1.5 blocks away in a lot for $14 a day. Nice staff, called a cab for us to go to Air Canada Centre. Breakfast is adequate. Wifi was pretty weak. Would probably stay again though. Book online though, charge twice the amount if you show up without a reservation.

Chose this hotel from the federal government list as an inexpensive spot near where I was having some meetings.

Older property, but clean. Bath towels a bit smaller than I'm used to, but all clean & good to go. I had a room at the front of the building, and traffic noise was not insignificant - if you can't sleep w/traffic noise, you should try for an interior room when booking.

Breakfast available in main floor dining area -- cold cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, coffee & juice. There's also a microwave in the dining area, and a great 24-hour supermarket less than 100 metres away, so no problem finding other breakfast options. No fridge in my room, so manage your food accordingly.

BIG CAVEAT: three floor building with no elevator, so if you need an elevator, this place is not for you.

Smaller caveaty The hotel's web page says they have a "business centre", and they will handle faxes and the like, but there's no computer terminals/printers to use. Free wi-fi, but if you don't have your own machine, you'll be looking for an internet cafe.

Room Tip: If you have trouble sleeping through traffic noise, avoid rooms on the front side of the hotel facing Jarvis.

Card readers are flaky and main entrance reader is broken so you have to wait outside until the desk attendant lets you in. Breakfast is awful. Beds are comfy though! Location is alright, it's right on a street corner, so it's hard to find a place to unload. We pulled into a hotel a block south on Jarvis and carried our luggage to the hotel. Parking is not included, but the closest location is two blocks west on Gerrard St is reasonable. Overall, would NOT recommend.

Room Tip: South side rooms don't face the street.
