Was just like a miniature Times Square! Lots of street performers and hustle and bustle in and around the streets! Looks good at night when lit up!

There is always something to see at Dundas Square, whether a band or a protest or artist. People entertain on the street and the water fountains are the backdrop for local artist and various venues throughout the summer months.

The ultimate in the downtown urban, no need for nature experience. Kind of like Times Square except a giant mall nearby. If I were a visitor to Toronto (which I am not) it would be the last place on my list to visit. I guess the water fountains when in operation are a nice feature.

They often host small community concerts, and events. Very well secured with closed caption video surveillance gives you a sense of safety. They have a nice water fountain that is sometimes used when there are no shows on the main stage. As well as benches and many contests and prizes being raffled off in the summer months. During the winter, it is a delight to enjoy the cascade of lights and displays they often change to keep you coming back. There is always vendors there, and some type of entertainment to be enjoyed, like Mime's, Street Bands, Dancers, Artists etc. You can come across many local artists performing, right up to special appearances by highly acclaimed celebrities. It is not Japan's Tokyo or NYC"s Time square- but it is Toronto's very unique square. They are located right across from the Eaton's centre and are surrounded by many shops along Yonge St., Restaurants and the Theatre district. Located right on the subway it is easy to get to. This is one place that has it's own energy that every one should experience for themselves when in Toronto.

This Square is extremely well located just across the Toronto Eaton center. It offers an AMC movie theater (we attended Les Miserables) with several rooms. The Square has a food court and a Future Shop as well as other businesses.
