It was a last minute decision to reserve here as we were trying to locate a restaurant close to the Royal Alex. What a find! Although definitely a more expensive place, all the menu items were delicious. We shared fig salad, which was a generous portion for 2, the lamb ribs were juicy and "fall of the bone" tender with a sweet and savoury crust. We also enjoyed the Tah-Dig, Middle eastern Fried Chicken (with tasty pickles), and Thrice cooked Fries. For dessert we had the ice cream stuffed baklava which was a nice mix of flavours and texture of creaminess and crispy pastry. Service was efficient and respectful of our time to get to the theatre on time. I also appreciate that water is supplied without requesting and our water glasses were regularly topped up.
they have a nice selection of wines and interesting mixed drinks. Although not on the menu, there is also a selection of imported and domestic beers.
It is a bit noisy (we were upstairs) and definitely more of a place for groups as opposed to an intimate couples dinner.
