Description: With a nod to its place in Toronto's food history, the completely reestablished Peter Pan Bistro brings a contemporary update to the classic traditions of dining out. Peter Pan demonstrates that accomplished cooking does not require a fine dining atmosphere and aims to balance these elements by refining the neighbourhood restaurant. Peter Pan subscribes to the "nose-to-tail" philosophy, popularly readopted over the past few years. This approach extends beyond simply the consumption of meat, instead embracing the responsible use of all raw ingredients. More than an education through food, what some take as byproducts of cooking, nose-to-tail sees as ingredients in the search for pleasure. Firm in its foundations of British and French principles, Peter Pan forgoes the unnecessary in its approach. Simple intervention should trump the elaborate wherever possible and Peter Pan looks to do this by honoring and reimagining classic dishes by means of modern playful twists. The homage to classic European cuisine, as well as its newer and cheekier elements, restores Peter Pan back into the evolving Canadian contemporary food scene.

We found this spot while walking along Queen Street and decided to try it for brunch. This turned out to be the right decision as the food here is excellent! I went for the Eggs benedict with bacon - the hollandaise sauce was excellent and the dish came with a decent side salad and a very tasty breakfast potato (a definite highlight). The eggs were poached just right. Topped it off with a freshly squeezed orange juice, that was very refreshing. The service at this venue was top notch, staff were very friendly and responsive. The decor here was also lovely, the stuffed animals on the walls were a great touch as well. Great value for the price we paid!

Walked into this place as we were walking around Toronto. We were a party of four people and we had each of us a breakfast. It was a pity that the breakfast did not come with toast as I would expect it with a breakfast, and also, they don't replenish the filter coffees which it was a bit of disappointment too as we like our coffees. The food also was very expensive. it came to $100 for four people and four breakfasts... too expensive. Would not recommend it.

6 of us booked in at 8.00pm on a Friday evening, we had a lovely window seat, which was great for the views, but quite cold. Albeit there was a heater, it wasn’t enough.
The menu choice is very small (6 mains) which is fine, but when at 8.00pm you are told we are sold out of 2 of them...! Not what you’d expect of course..!
We did still enjoy it, albeit my choice wasn’t what I would have had, it was very rich.

My sister and randomly decided to eat at Peter Pan on Saturday night. We were able to get a table at around seven with no reservation. We were greeted and treated in a welcoming and friendly manner. We ordered two appetizers each and a couple of glasses of wine. The food was creative and very tasty. We explained we had a little time issue and we got both food and wine quickly. We were able to relax and enjoy our time there. Very pleasant experience and would highly recommend the restaurant. Wish I had the name of the server. She was very good.
