What an amazing experience! Was in Toronto for business and took a friend's recommendation to visit Il Ponte. So glad I did. I was greeted by the owner, John (Giancarlo) when I arrived. This man was born to be in the restaurant business. He seated my friends and I in a perfect table in his modern, warm and inviting dining room. I told John that whatever he recommended is what I would have. My friends took the same approach. Our meal started bruschetta with the freshest cherry tomatoes, olive oil and a sardine as an appetizer. Amazing! John proceeded to bring a series of dishes to our table that were all incredible. They included calamari, caesar salad, pasta with the most amazing cream sauce I've ever had, Pork Milanese and house made wild boar sausage. I could not offer a more heartfelt 5 star review for this restaurant. Awesome! Grazie Giancarlo! Che pasto fantastico!

Giancarlo a BIG thank you to you and your amazing staff at Il PoNte for being part of our family's special day. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our daughter's Baptism. Everything from the warm hospitality shown by you and your staff to accommodating our 50+ guest, including many little guests. We appreciated how we were able to reorganize the restaurant to create and set up a special kids corner for them to play and last but not least the incredible food and wine served.

We were about to choose a personalized menu from the multiple options. Giancarlo guided, suggested and executed an amazing day by always checking in with us to ensure the timing of the day went smoothly.

Everyone is still talking about how great their meals were and (are already planning their next visit lol) and my personal favorites the Margarita pizza and butternut squash ravioli DELICIOUS!!!.

Amazing food, amazing staff just an incredible restaurant, you should be very proud Giancarlo.

We will not hesitate to tell everyone we know to put il PoNte on their MUST try list for any occasion from a simple date night to a baptism celebration.

The best homemade Italian food ever!! John Carlo and his staff make you feel like you are family. The food is exceptional and made with love. From the homemade soups, pasta dishes, main entrees and desserts, you will NOT be disappointed. Make sure you make a reservation to check Il Ponte out and it will not be your last visit. Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Il Ponte serves up create and innovative Italian cuisine in a sleek, modern setting. The portions are on the large side (and the prices fair given the quality). My wife and son enjoyed the salads - the Cesare and Rucola - while I quite liked the Calamari Fritti. The pastas were also quite good - the Cesarecci which is prepared with wild boar sausage, Swiss chard, balb onions and parmiganio cheese together with the pappardelle with bufala cheese. There's a dent wine list (with prices on the higher side) and the service was very good. All in an enjoyable dinner.

An attractive small-ish Italian restaurant serving authentic food. While the area is not yet up-market, the restaurant itself is, with relaxing but interesting decor, and food as tasty as it would be in an Italian family, but presented well also. The staff were courteous and helpful.
Overall, a good experience.
