Description: The original jewel in the Oliver & Bonacini crown and a North Toronto icon, Auberge du Pommier has been serving guests since 1987. Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style. Featuring wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush, floral terraces in summer, it is a welcoming, refined retreat from the city. A modern French fine dining restaurant, Auberge du Pommier exudes a quiet confidence, reflecting a commitment to culinary excellence and inspired service. The cuisine honours both the refined techniques and rustic styles of classic French fare, with an innovative North American accent. Simple yet elevated, seasonal menus focus on quality by using the finest ingredients, highlighting their natural flavours and textures and plating them elegantly. Through its appreciation of fine food and elegant presentation, its intelligent, sincere service and its French, country-inspired décor, Auberge du Pommier perfectly balances charm and sophistication, romance and refinement.

Great restaurant. Great helpful and professional service. NIce bright, sophisticated decor inside and out-- sitting on the patio you forget completely that you are in the middle of an office park. Not a cheap option, but you get what you pay for. If it's a bit too rough on the wallet wait for Winter- / Summerliscious and enjoy a great prix fixe option. Even during those seasons, the food is top quality and the service is excellent.

We had a wonderful time at Auberge du Pommier trying their Winterlicious dinner. We were not extremely impressed by receptionist as took her a long time to get us to the table. However, the courteous and friendly server made up for the initial bad experience.. The atmosphere is lovely and charming.
The Winterlicious food offerings are delicious and the servings is one expected in a fine dining restaurant.
The nice touch is all of us got the dessert recipe and the marshmellow sample. Nice conversation piece and very memorable experience.

I really do like this restaurant and have been here many times. The last time was with a girlfriend for a girls' lunch. The food was outstanding and the waiter was tons of fun. One of the best lunches I've had. Soup was excellent and the braised lamb was melt-in-your-mouth. Sadly, my previous lunch visit was very poor. Food came out not looking/tasting like what the menu had described. Auberge, I really do love you, but please be more consistent with your quality. When it's good, it's great!

Liked it very much the last two times I visited and I have been going there for over 20 years or so. French provincial feel in both decor and food style and very high quality although the price will tend to make it a "special ocassion" target only.
