Description: The Hot House Restaurant & Bar is one of the busiest restaurants in Toronto and the reason is clear... Great food. The Hot House offers spacious, colourfully decorated rooms and an upbeat atmosphere in addition to an eclectic menu to suit all tastes. From thin-crust gourmet pizzas to steaks, rack of lamb, Cajun shrimp, numerous pasta dishes, seasonal salads, and decadent desserts, this menu has it all, including an extensive vegetarian selection. The Hot House Restaurant & Bar also has an extensive selection of wines from around the world, as well as an impressive cocktail menu and a selection of offerings from Canadian microbreweries. The sun-drenched 150 seat patio at the Hot House is an excellent setting to sample some fine Italian wines, Canadian craft beers, or the one of the best mojitos and margaritas in the city. In addition to the patio and the eclectic menu, the Hot House also offers group menus and private areas ideal for birthdays, showers, office parties, meetings, or any other function.

“Great Toronto Brunch Buffet”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

The Hot House is not your typical Sunday brunch buffet. For one thing there was live jazz band playing. It is busy for sure and reservations are a must, but well worth the effort. The food was great with an extensive selection from traditional breakfast items to roast beef and one of the finest desert tables I have seen at a buffet. The two young kids working the omelet bar needed some training both in customer service and cooking, but other than that the staff was friendly and efficient. A good option for groups, families or couples looking for a Sunday lunch buffet.

“Sunday Brunch is Hot Hot Hot”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

Sunday Brunch is $19.95 per person. I would strongly encourage you to make reservations. We waited about an hour for our seat without reservations; seemed like even those who had made reservations also had to wait but nearly not as long.

Food is delicious. Prime rib and ham station. Omelette station. Dessert station. Full assortment of standard brunch items with a few gems like the Thai glass noodles and the honey BBQ chicken. I'm a pretty picky eater and thoroughly enjoyed the selection.

Beverages are expensive. Juice is $5 per glass and soda pop is $3 (bottomless).

Live band played during our visit which added to the atmosphere.

Will definitely go back.

“Hot House Brunch - Toronto”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

Brunch at Hot House, Toronto.

Firstly, it was very crowded with families, small children and quite noisy. Although the buffet was quite varied, the only thing that was really 'hot' was the lasagne (really good). The baked ham was salty and cold, the chicken sage sausages were cold too. The roast beef was all bleedy - eeck ! I enjoyed the fruit and the waffle. The set up of the buffet is too small and quite crowded and I think next time, I will not have the buffet, but rather a served meal. The Mimosa my daughter bought me was lovely !

On a scale of 1 - 10, I give Hot House a 6 for value.
