My husband was in the mood for Greek and we were in the north end of Toronto. He googled and came up with Laterna. Spoiler - although it came up under "Greek", there weren't a lot of Greek options on the menu. When we arrived we were made to stand for a while even though there were at least 4 empty tables. That really bugged me. I think the server was waiting for a table for 2 to leave so she could seat us there and not take up one of the empty tables which seated for 4. Thankfully another server came along and seated us at one of the empty tables.
Because we were looking for Greek we both had the lamb souvlaki dinner - and it was excellent! The lamb was really tender (and they were generous with the portion) and the accompanying Greek salad was really good too - lots of feta cheese. Our server (thankfully not the one who refused to seat us orignially) was very helpful and quick.
If you're hankering for Greek and find yourself in the Yonge and Steeles area, try Laterna. Next time we go, we're trying the pizza!
