Several friends and I keep coming back here in larger and larger groups after discovering and loving this place.

When it's not a weekend the service is lightening quick. This is a great place for groups of four to ten because of the wide variety of bigger plate non-sushi options.

What stands apart though is the sashimi selection, at other price-comparable all you can eat sushi places you won't find Ika and scallop sashimi.

Even the desserts stand out. The coconut ice cream is well loved and my Asian friends swear by their mango pudding.

This is not downtown, but it has free parking and is spaciously designed.

The food is fantastic, the service is great - this place won't stay a secret for long. Expect lines by the winter.

This was our first time visiting this location. Much closer to Toronto compared to their first location in Oakville however not yet as great as them.
The food is delicious and just as good although they do have a lot more menu options, such as pad thai, curry, and beef/shrimp dishes.
We love the sushi, all you can eat for $25, considering the amount of food you can consume, it's a great deal!
The restaurant is fairly new, great location, free parking, nice decor, we recognized the manager from the other location was there now. Maybe they are still getting organized but the service here is not as good as in Oakville. Lots of errors on our order, slow, a long wait to get a table. The servers were apologetic and would fix the mistake but it would just take another 20 min and sometimes you don't want to wait that long for it.
I'm hoping they will improve in time as it is easier for us to get too but either way the food is great and you can't go wrong, as long as you are not in a rush.

We (six of us) decided to have a business lunch. We visited the above establishment as per a previous colleague's recommendation. Since this restaurant operates on the iPad "virtual menu" system: you pick what you like from the menu, how many of each, etc. Then, once you are ready, you select the 'call server' button, and wait... and wait... and wait...
Granted that this was a business lunch with six of us. However, the restaurant was not that busy and it did seem that they were short staffed as well. Seeing the manager serving tables was a good indicator.

Eventually, our server arrived and took control of the iPad and read back our orders. We all confirmed, and she proceeded to press the 'send' button to the kitchen staff. By the way, the kitchen staff is in the open. There were only two chefs that day and, in my opinion, looked very unprepared to handle multiple orders.

After waiting another 20 minutes, our orders started arriving in multiple phases... We noticed too long a time between our orders.. For your information, these are very small orders where you get to share with everyone. Make sure you ask how big each order is. Having to share a small plate of noodles with six people is a bit ridiculous... perhaps our fault.

When we thought we were done, I remembered that our last order, Shrimp Dumplings had not yet been served. We summoned the server, she checked the order list (as if we're lying) and sure enough we're right! She apologized and followed up. That took another 15 minutes of waiting for her to come back to tell us that the dumplings were coming out. We almost got up and left when she finally showed up with them... They were absolutely delicious and highly recommended! But not worth the wait!!

So here is a quick breakdown:

Parking - plenty to be had at the rear.
Décor - simple Asian inspired.
Outdoor Seating - they do have one.
Customer Service - 4/10. That's the best way for me to rate this establishment.
Food Quality - Average to almost good.
Price - Average to Medium. The menu does not display prices. Ask, so you won't be surprised later.
Order Process - One absolute minus about this style of ordering food? One iPad for six people to use is, useless! Unfortunately, many other similar style restaurants are following suit! Too bad.

Bottom line: Will I be returning, even if with my wife or a friend? No! Would I recommend it? Maybe, but with great trepidation. I happen to like my readers!

5 of us arrived on Sunday (31st). The restaurant is newly opened. The first thing that struck us was the layout. Nice large booths or tables. This place can accommodate large groups.
Service was very good throughout the meal. Ordering is via an electronic pad. It was well explained and easy to use. You pick from the menu and when your order is complete you select 'call server' which lets the server know to come and review the order. There is a 5 piece per person limit per order on Sashimi. I can see why. The pieces were very large. Really large.
By 'round' 4 they were a little smaller (closer to the norm). That's ok. It's ayce so there 's no way you're leaving hungry.
All the fish, octopus, etc. was very fresh.
As well as numerous rolls, sushi and sashimi we ordered garlic beef (very tender, tasty and better than I would expect normally at an ayce sushi rest), Gen Tao Chicken (very good also), grilled beef chops, soups, salads and desserts.
The dessert cups were quite large (about 5 times larger than at Heart Sushi) and all were good. We had Mango pudding, Mango Yogurt, several flavours of ice cream and fried banana. It (banana) comes drizzled with a chocolate sauce. One of us couldn't eat the chocolate sauce (allergy issue) so one was prepared without. Nice.
We used to like Aji Sai on Queen but all agree it has dropped in quality over the last year. Heart Sushi in MIss. is pretty good but this is our new 'go to' for ayce sushi.
It's just north of the QEW, east of Kipling on the north side of the Queensway in the old Hollywood tavern. It has been completely remodeled so is clean and fresh.
All the servers were helpful and though it was quite busy they seemed to be on top of things. We had one order missed (easily fixed) but that was out of several rounds of orders.
Lunch is $16.95. Dinner is 8-10 $'s more. (can't recall exactly). There was no BBQ eel sushi but it was available in a a hand roll and some other roll. I suspect it is one of the extra items available at dinner.
My sons are in their 20's and are large guys that spend quite a bit of time at the gymn and they can really pack it away. Our table consumed a massive amount of food. No one batted an eye and all were very pleasant, gave us a pleasant good-bye and a 'see you again'.
We'll definitely be back often, if we didn't eat them 'out of business' this time!
