I have two favvourite parts. First, I appreciated the way Lisa created a very interesting online lesson about biomimicry. Second, I liked the fact that she used a neighbourhood example to give our students a collaborative challenge.
Lisa was amazingly knowledgeable and really inspired us to think outside the box and take a closer look at things in nature. My kids loved it and we will do another tour for sure.
Lisa led an enjoyable nature walk through the trails of southern Ontario. Not only were there spectacular views along the walk but she also educates and provides you with activities to enhance your connection with nature and those around you. The hike was a relaxing and adventurous experience. Lisa teaches that through the connection with nature we can be our happiest and most authentic selves which is a key component to achieving our life dreams. Highly recommend!
Lise did an amazing job leading my team from work on a guided tour focusing on nature and mindfulness. She was well prepared for social distancing and sanitizing. We spent two hours walking through the York regional forest. It’s the first time the group of us have been together since the first week of March in person. She dId a great job helping us all reconnect again. Thanks Lisa!
Lisa Gervais articulately offers a range of experiences and information in different natural settings which show how insects, plants, birds and other fellow Earthlings have much to teach us humans about effective and responsive design. The natural settings of Toronto's Don Valley and the Brickworks are inspiring locations for Lisa's invitations to consider relationships within the natural world as examples of innovation in response to challenges we face. A worthwhile and important experience.
Lisa Gervais is a spirited and incredibly knowledgeable guide through Toronto's treasured ravines. She opens our eyes to what is right around us and human innovations inspired by nature. The walk was a delight and is suitable to all ages.
