Description: Aburi Restaurant's first East Coast flagship is situated in Toronto's harbourfront at Bay and Queens Quay. With over 7000 square feet of dining space, a raw bar, sushi bar, and spacious patio, Miku Toronto brings contemporary upscale dining and design to the Southern Financial District. Expanding east from roots in Vancouver, Aburi Restaurants and Miku Vancouver are known both locally and internationally for the innovative concept of Aburi Sushi. Corporate Executive Chef Kazuya Matsuoka brings Aburi Cuisine to Toronto by combining traditional Japanese flavours and techniques with local, East Coast elements to create a truly unique dining experience. Miku Toronto's menu focuses on Aburi Sushi as well as fresh seafood, respecting the natural flavours of the ingredients while adding a signature Aburi twist. Japanese and European inspired desserts made in house by our pastry team create the perfect ending to the culinary experience. The restaurant also hosts an extensive wine, sake, and cocktail list to pair with all dining occasions. The first of Aburi Restaurants' East Coast locations, we can expect more to follow in the coming years.

This is definitely a solid spot for sushi in Toronto. The restaurant is very big and open, great ambience, staff were very knowledgeable- however they were rushing to remove plates before i was even done.

The food is really good, great bang for your buck, and the desserts are also a must try- I had opera cake- very yummy.

Would definitely go back, it's also a good date spot, but also great for a business dinner and event.

It's not a cheap spot, but worth splurging on for a special date night.

If you love sushi, have money to spend, come to Miku, make sure you are hungry, and order he chef’s signature menu consisting of 5 courses which will satisfy you in terms of flavor, quality and experience.
Ambiance is modern and trendy, maybe a little too celebrity-ish, but worth it
Remember, it can get pricey ($110 CND for Miku Kaiseki 5-coursed menu)

Being a sushi fan this came as a discovery by my colleague. Hidden inside Waterfront building, the interior is warm and nicely design. It can get a bit crowded but everything is aligned. The service is top, with savvy waiters that can help you to guide through the menu. In terms of sushi, go directly for their signature dishes, pricey but you will be tasting some of the top fishes in the world and combination. Special mention the sushi with double layer of salmon and jalapeño. Definitely a recommendation if you love sushi.

I have been here multiple times with either dates, friends, or family.
I think the food is delicious, especially the aburi sushi. But it is very small portion and definitely not as tasty as some of the torched ones I had in North York.

I would come here to splurge some times but I won't really recommend this to everyone.
A lot of bloggers/influencers come here because they are sponsored to do so. I still think it is not worth the money.

Although I've never been to California's Nobu I don't think I need to!

Vancouver and Toronto's Miku is world class sushi with world class service. And don't forget Minami in Yale town. Same owner same experience same sushi!

Word of caution. Once you go, no other sushi will do!
