Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: Learn about the birth of Canadian Club whisky and the history of Hiram Walker. You will experience a guided tour through the original 1894 office building, a replica of a 16th Century Italian Renaissance Palace, highlighting the periods of the Prohibition Era. We’ll visit the Speakeasy and see where the gangster meetings took place, the boardroom that now features group of seven paintings, and the sampling room that outlines our key markets. The tour also includes a formal whisky tasting.

We stopped by the brand center, and we were told by the guard that the center is now venue for wedding. The edifice is outstanding from the outside. Sad that the interior is closed to the general public.

Loved doing this tour and learning all about the history of it. Great job and well priced. The tour guide was very informative and actuslly pretty witty. This was not a full tour.

The tours/tastings here are no longer available. A shame really as a big part of a brand is it's history and the history of "Candian Club" now will be locked away for ever?
We were lucky enough to speak to a chap who has worked in the area for quite a while and he told us some stories of whats in side and what has happened inside in the early years, wasn't as good as going in for a look yourself but was very interesting just the same.
The building itself was amazing, the grandeur and elegance considering its age. The gounds were well manicured and complimented the building and the setting right next to the water, perfect and well worth he trouble to admire on its own.
I have had many a good time drinking canadian club, yes it was a shame we couldn't enjoy the "Brand Centre", will it stop me enjoying it in the future, probably not......

Was looking forward to this tour but arrived to find it had closed. Walked to Walkerville brewery and sampled some really great beers. easy to get to by Riverwalk.

The tour was a great way to explore and learn about the history of Canadian Club as well as its founder Hirem Walker and his family. The tour guides were knowledgable and friendly and the sample at the end of the tour was a nice way to finish. Sadly, as of March 31, 2017 the tour is no longer being offered to the public. I was told by their staff that events already booked will be ho outed through until the end of 2017.

Thank Tyler M
