If you like seafood, you cannot go wrong. Excellent choice of fresh seafood. We had the mussels, the oysters Rockefeller and the crab and lobster cakes. All were very good, even if the cakes still had some pieces of shell in them. The creme fraiche and the chutney were a good accompaniment. A local draft beer (ODP lager) was an excellent choice. The cheesecake was less to our liking. It was not light and fluffy and instead of the coarse coconut, coconut milk or a finer coconut powder could have enhanced the experience. Service was excellent throughout with lots of info about seafood and PEI. Highly recommended.

I wandered down Sydney street, checking out the menus at several restaurants. Undecided I bounced back and forth and finally popped in for a look here. Nestled beneath the Olde Dublin Pub, this is a hidden gem. It was a Tuesday night and the place was hopping. I was lucky to snag a seat at the bar where Kip was shucking oysters, pouring drinks and chatting up the customers, all at the same time. The kale Caesar was very good but the lobster risotto was outstanding. Do yourself a favour and make a reservation. I would have been sorely disappointed to have missed the warm atmosphere and a fabulous dinner at the Claddagh Oyster House.

We had a reservation at 5 pm when the restaurant opens. On arrival we were greeted and had a nice table. The food was Delicious beyond our expectations. The service was superb. Definitely will come back when visiting the PEI again. Thank you!

Visited with my husband and had a great night. Ambiance is fantastic and the food tasty. A little pricey.
