We took I. Anne of Green Gables, The Musical. The venue is small, intimate, excellent acoustics, comfortable seats. Attractive halls and gift shop. Does not have its own Parkade and street
Parking is limited to 2 hours, so you have to park in one of the nearby Parkade within walking distance.

Hello Harley:

Thank you for visiting the Centre and Anne of Green Gables-The Musical! We love our theatre, too, and love hearing that others love it, too.

We hope to see you back, again, soon. In terms of parking, there are a few parking garages: one at 100 Pownal Street, 222 Queen Street and the corner of Fitzroy and Prince Street. We hope that makes it easier to stop into the show!

Have a lovely August.

Cheers,
CCOA

What a beautiful 1100 seat theatre. Lots of parking, lots of places to eat or drink, before or after the show. The show was wonderful. The cast, the direction, the music, top notch.

The architecture is not pretty but very utilitarian. Anne of Green Gables the musical plays here and it is great!

Had a wonderful visit to the Art Gallery.

Started with the two gigantic crow sculptures are lying outside the entrance of the Confederation Centre Art Gallery in Charlottetown that attracted my attention.
While the sculptures made by artist Gerald Beaulieu are made of rubber tires and inspired by roadkill — they are quite majestic and beautiful.

The other travelling exhibition which should not be missed is by Phillippa Jones called Perpetual. She is a Newfoundland-based artist and the exhibit considers mortality. Understandably some of her works are dark (interestingly a good compliment to Beaulieu crows!) the overarching feeling is inspired - respect for the fragility in nature and of life and rebirth.

So glad the crows inspired me to step inside!!!!!

P.S. entrance is free but donations welcome

Hello:

Thank you for visiting our Gallery and for letting us know about your experience. The crows were created last year for an annual outdoors art installation called Art-in-the-Open!

Come back to visit, again, soon.

Cheers,

We had orchestra level seats and it was very poor if you have a tall person sitting the front of you. They need to realign their seats. Poor theatre!
