The rooms were very clean and in great condition. Well stock and the suite is the way to go. Full fridge and all the amenities The getaway package included 4 Gahan beer and a $50 gift certificate you can use at numerous restaurants. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They took care of our every need. Even gave us nice bagged breakfasts because the covid protocols keeps the continental closed. The hotel is right in the center of things and a 5 minute walk to almost anything you would want to do. Quiet at night with off street parking. If you go to Charlottetown stay here

Room tip: Suites are wonderful. First floor

My SO and I went to the hotel for two nights on their package of a similar name, a "staycation" package for people on PEI. It involved a bagged breakfast, wine/beer each night, and a $50 gift card for DP Murphy restaurants at $160 (with taxes) a night. Not a bad deal!

The hotel is more motel-style- no microwave in the room, for example- but it was roomy enough for the two of us and overall very clean (the only thing I noticed was some yellow spots in the ceiling in the shower, but they were not very noticeable so it was an understandable miss).

Because of covid, there was no housekeeping. However, the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating and were always kind and polite.

The boxed breakfast had yogurt, cheese, juice, fruit, and a muffin. Basic but with covid considered, a well rounded breakfast that give all the caloric needs for the first meal.

Also, the shower was nice and warm. No surprises- the temperature was not at all off the dial. So rare.

Jason on the desk was the BEST! He was very kind and helpful. Room was super clean and really cute. Newly renovated and tasteful. Much better than the more "upscale" hotels in town. Great pricing. Perfect location. Highly recommended.

The hotel is actually a motel. The room was modern, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was fine. No elevators, paper thin walls (could hear every word the neighbors said) and every room exited to outdoors. Also, I couldn't find any ice machines.... In my opinion, the owners made a great attempt to modernize what would have been a dumpy old motel at one point. The hotel was within walking distance to many Ctown attractions, and free cookies all day long at the breakfast area.

Room tip: Probably one on the first floor if you dont like stairs..

Obviously newly renovated, almost everywhere.
However:-
* it's motel-style, so each room's door opens to the outside. We were in the furthest and it was a long, cold jog to breakfast!
* there's no elevator, and there are lots of stairs - the three parts of the hotel are on different levels (ie. from the 2nd part to the 3rd, there's one odd step. And you go downstairs to reach Reception. Odd indeed).
* the toilet was tiny: it was low and had an old-style round seat. I think we've just got used to the taller, oval toilets - seeing (& using) an old-fashioned one was.... different. You'd think if they were renovating everything else (& they had) they would splurge on a full-size toilet!
* We had the family suite - but there was only one thermostat for both bedrooms - thus one was too hot and the other a bit cool.
* Breakfast was included (thank you), but we were a bit disappointed with the hot breakfast option: a warm hard-boiled egg, and a spanish omelette cut into 2" squares. No meat was offered. The cold breakfast was fine, though the bagels were hard as rocks and likely stale.

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. Just lacking in a few small details.

Room tip: choose one close to Reception. Ground floor has fewer stairs.
