Went and stayed during covid so things a little different. Nice friendly staff and clean hotel. Almost motel like but has a inner corridor. Rooms a little small but nice and clean, I’m guessing a bit older hotel. Nice king sized bed, microwave and mini fridge.an indoor and a large outdoor pool. Nice quiet area of town. Now the breakfast not buffet due to covid but you placed your order night before and set a time to pick up your food. A microwaveable egg morning sandwich, a piece of fruit, juice, yogurt muffin and coffee or tea. Best that can be done.

Local owners, Alfred and David Groom are exceptional hands on management. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out. Having a gym and swimming pool provided an opportunity for exercise and relaxation. Well appointed meeting rooms were available when required. The complimentary breakfast allowed for a wide selection of choices. The hotel enjoys spacious corridors throughout the complex. The staff was always friendly, polite and helpful in every way. There is a bonus for us coffee lovers, the hotel has a sophisticated coffee machine that brews the tastiest complimentary coffee ever. It operates 24 hours a day and is self served.

Room tip: Check with the staff for recommendations.

We were in town for a hockey tournament. This hotel had three of the teams staying there. Travelling with teenagers, they need space to wander. This hotel had very wide hallways with patio furniture set up throughout. The kids and parents were able to socialize. They also gave us a conference room for after 10 when it was quiet time. They were very accommodating. The pool was not huge or deep. Which is great for the kids to play in. My only complaint was we asked for queen bed and got doubles. We asked for a cot which we were able to squeeze into the room. The free breakfast had lots of choices including waffles, eggs, sausages, bacon and hash browns, cereal and toast. Pretty standard. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. I appreciate it when hotel understand what they are getting into when they have teams staying with them and do helpful things like giving the kids and parents a room to hang out in.

Stayed at this hotel for 10 days on business. Its very loud. I asked for a quiet room it wasn't. I could hear people in the next room talking. Then came the weekend where there were children screaming in the lobby until 10:30 seriously i called front desk and they told me quiet time was 10 pm. Shouldn't quiet time be always i had to wake up at 5 am for work everyday. I would not recommend this hotel if you like quiet. The only thing i give this hotel a positive comment is the complimentary breakfast was good too bad the only time i could go was the day i was leaving as it opens at 6:30.

My wife and I had a very nice stay at this hotel with our travel group. We could not ask for more. Our room was very nice as was the breakfast in the morning. The staff made us feel welcome plus the room rate was reasonable.
