Consistent superbness

I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years now. First it was for work, then whenever I was in Montréal for work of on personal travel I and my family stayed only at this hotel.

They are amazingly consistent in maintaining and improving everything a hotel is supposed to offer to both business and leisure travellers: spacious clean rooms, comfortable work area, super relaxing bed, gym with always latest equipment, pool ... I don't even want to start describing the pool area. Just look at the pictures. I simply don't know another hotel in their category with the kind of pool area Sheraton Laval has.
A bit far from downtown, but I don't mind to drive and pay for parking downtown rather than stay in an overpriced downtown hotel with half of what this hotel has to offer.
Close to shopping and good restaurants.

If you are thinking of staying here for the first time, give it a chance. You will love it. Even if something is wrong - for a large hotel "glitches" are expected to happen every once in a while - the hotel will fix it, because customer satisfaction is their top priority.
Ignore bad reviews. People complain about noise from garbage trucks or noise in the hotel on the weekend - things they often don't have control over. After all, which hotel does not have a bit of noise on the weekend? C'mon... Just have proper expectations.

Good one night stay

Only stayed here for one night on business during the COVID lockdown. The staff was very friendly, helpful and did a wonderful job of taking care of everyone. Nice hotel with updated common areas and rooms. Both rooms and bathrooms were good size. Rooms had fridges which was a nice surprise. Indoor pool and fitness area. Good location with shops and restaurants walkable. Good stay for business.

Wonderful relaxing hotel!

Great location and wonderful amenities and places to wind down at the end of the day! Love the pool area. Close to many restaurants and across from the mall. Breakfast very good and service perfect. Highly recommend.

Good location but a bit loud

If you want to shop this is a great place to stay, it is in front of a large mall with very nice stores. But, if you want to rest or do sightseeing of the city, this is not your place.
We stayed in a suite. It was ok, but it was super loud. They were doing some renovations and at 8.30 am they starred drilling and banging the walls.
Staff was great, that is something worth mentioning

Expectations

Won't be disappointed if you're reasonable and are not expecting super anything. Hotel does the basics well; enjoys a great location and proximity to many well known chain restaurants. I deducted a star for "dial up" speed internet and somewhat coarse bedding.
