Try Roselys for an impressive meal. We found the service above average and very helpful to order and understand the chefs ingredients. Ask for Sylvain. He may be the most talented server we’ve come across in quite a time. Our meal was very good and, of course, steeped in the French style. The bread was a great delight, artichoke ravioli and lamb were well prepared. Sylvain suggested the wine to pair with entrees and it was just right. This was a busy evening with many guests. Our thanks to chef and staff!

We wait for a long time before the waiter come to see us. He was rude and in a hurry. we ask him some questions about the menu and we realize that he knows nothing about the plates he’s serving. We tried to speak to the manager but he was so arrogant and condescending with us that we almost quit our table. We stayed and order some plates because we were hungry and tired. Food was really good but we can’t really enjoyed it cause of the bad service! I don’t even speak about the wine list that looks stucked on the 90’s. Really a bad experience

I booked a reservation here, when locals told me this was the best place to go for a great breakfast. I was told to make a reservation since getting a table for brunch was next to impossible. So I reserved a table for 9;30. We opted for the hot/cold buffet at $29 per person. Our bill was $73 with tip. The selection was very small. More of a continental style with some eggs, bacon, sausage. The eggs were very watery, the bacon overly salty, my blackberries tasted of mold, and there was a hair in my coffee cream. I would expect this buffet for about $10. We left our included breakfast at our hotel to go here. I would advise people to maybe to the made to order menu and maybe you will have better luck. We won't be back.

Very little tea selections, no English Breakfast, nor Orange Pekoe, which these are the basic must have tea In a high tea salon. No real sandwiches. In a three tier tray the bottom two both have only finger food(dessert). A normal high tea service usually presents sandwiches at the bottom, then scones in the middle, then little dessert on top. Kind of disappointed with such a renowned hotel. We had a fantastic experience many years ago at Chateaux Laurier in Ottawa, which also belongs to the Fairmount group. This one in Montreal need to improve the quality in their high tea section. The sever is friendly and the dishes are beautiful; however suggest them to use real tea strainer then paper filter bag for high tea.

Truly enjoyed this restaurant in the Queen Elizabeth hotel downtown Montreal. Classy but casual atmosphere. Excellent menu. Top quality ingredients. Friendly & knowledgeable service.
Check out the lobby , lounges and bar area in the tastefully completely renovated hotel while you are there.
