14 year old daughter: Its so good, can I eat this every day.
11 year old daughter: I hope we have left overs
Mom: Its like my mouth is traveling or is back home.
We love food. We want to eat here everyday.
Something the restaurant could improve on:
1) A bit more food in the containers. I am used to overflowing containers of Chinese
2) Using compostable or carboard take out containers to help the environment
3) Give me some food for free since I want to live in your kitchen!
I heard about this restaurant from the New YorkTimes. I am a NewYorker transplanted in Montreal. They did not lie, it is the best.
we are vegetarian so we did not try the meat dishes.
Lunch today. Chose Aunt Dai because of reviews. Pad thai was flavoured with sugar and salt only and a few raw green peppers. It was bland and amateur. Waitress said that the chef was late or absent. So why not close instead of serving bad food. My two companions were equally disappointed.
Located on a busy area downtown, this place is easy to miss.
The food is prepared well and has a great balance of spice and texture.
The decor is odd and service almost too prompt but the food is the star.
Look at the printed form and you see they support a free meeting space and support language learning. The beer is pronounced Ting Tao. The serving sizes are large and dinner for two with a good tip will run about $80.
