The place was a nice place but it could be made better. So, I'm just going to list the pros and cons. The cons are: 1) The mattresses in the two front bedrooms are hard and it took my husband and me a long time to go to sleep on those beds; 2) The TVs are old and they don't have HDMI connections. I really wanted to watch a movie either from Netflix or amazon prime on my laptop and plug it into the HDMI of the TV but I couldn't because of no HDMI connections. Plenty of people look for this these days as an amenity. 3) The dryer barely works. it takes an hour and a half to dry a small load of laundry. We had to hang up our clothes on hangers the entire stay. The washer can also use an upgrade to while your at it since it is showing its age; 4) The patio furniture is okay but it would have been great to have a table on the patio to use to eat and drink out there.; 5)There were no wooden spoons to cook with or serving spoons to serve food; 6) More spices would be nice to cook different dishes. I promise if these updates were done it would make a world of difference and it would definitely make me a return customer.
The pros are: 1) My son told me that the mattress on the bed in the bedroom behind the kitchen was very comfortable; 2) The pool was nice and big. My husband, son and I enjoyed the pool very much; 3) The hot tub helped my aches after a long day of walking around all day sightseeing; 4) Having a kitchen to cook in was nice. The fridge was nice and big and came in handy; 5) The place is in walking distance to the Olympic stadium, the botanical gardens/insecterarium and the planetarium; 6) The grounds of the Olympic Village Apartments were very nice. The flowers in the pots were pretty. There were picnic tables everywhere to use. There was a nice swing set outside close to the pool; 7)There is a nice little grocery store inside the same building of the apartment; 8) Didier was a great host. He arrived to meet us at 3 p.m., the check in time, and showed us around; 9) The wifi was great and helped with searching the internet for the trip.
