“Well done ecosystems, well worth a couple of hours”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

There are only 4 exhibits and they do not try to cover a comprehensive range of ecosystems but the integrated ecosystem exhibits themselves are incredibly well done and do a good job of immersing you in their respective environments. Our children really enjoyed the tropical rain forest exhibit with its monkeys and sloths, as well as the St. Lawrence Gulf exhibit where they could watch sea birds fly above and dive into the water and then go to the level below where they could see what the birds are diving for. It was a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours on a dreary and cold day in Montreal, but even in beautiful weather it's well worth a visit.

“Fun for the whole family... however its the same as it looked 10 years ago”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

This is a good visit even when the weather outside is not so great. It is like an indoor zoo which reflects several world climates. From the rain forest, to the Laurentian Mountains to the Antarctic. Yes! you can see live penguins. My favorite part!

Please note however that if you have visited the Biodome before, I found that all exhibits pretty well look the same as they did 10 years ago

“Interesting use of the velodrome”
Reviewed 7 April 2012

It took about an hour to go around the all of the zones. It was interesting to see the different animals, but sometimes hard to see what we were meant to be looking at, with no guide or information stand. Lots of small children which didn't annoy us but if you want to take your time in peace you might want to go later in the day when the school tours have finished. Wear layers that are easy to remove it is hot in there to start with.
