Overcrowded patio at lunch, I mean it OVERCROWDED so that you could not budge. It slowed service and the food was meh! They asked us to move over to put another twosome right next to us and we were incredulous given the lack of space. Just a grab for more business at the expense of the patron having a good experience. Suggest you go somewhere else, I certainly would not go here again.

Stopped for lunch whilst walking the sights of Montreal. Great burgers and friendly service. Larger bar area inside which is clearly popular with students and locals.

Stopped in here for supper. The pub has a very extensive menu. The drink menu is a long list of different types of alcoholic beverages. It is a multilevel complex. There is an indoor section and an outdoor section. I highly recommend if you're in the downtown area stop in and have a bite to eat.

Great place to hang out and watch the people on Crescent Street in the afternoon. Friendly staff too.

Five of us were shopping at the large sidewalk sale in the shopping district of downtown Montreal. Before we knew it, it was time to rest and have lunch. Walking up Crescent Street we chose to go to The Sir Winston Churchill. A couple of the members of the group had been there before.
This establishment is celebrating its 50th year. This alone is quite the accomplishment in the restaurant field. Our full-strength cocktails, delicious meal and pleasant table (on the porch overlooking the street) made me realize why the place has enjoyed such longevity. What a nice experience and one I would gladly repeat for supper some time.
