We had an excellent room and quality breakfast during our stay at the Hotel I'ITHQ. It also proved to be an excellent base from which to tour the many sights of Montreal and was situated in a very pleasant part of the city. In addition there was a station for the underground close by.

We are thrilled you enjoyed the room and the breakfast, as well as your visit of the city. You are right, the Hôtel de l’ITHQ is just above the Sherbrooke metro station. It’s very convenient for people such as yourself who wants to travel easily throughout the town.

Great property excellent location especially if you are a walker. Also easy access to subway. Loved our balcony views. food in restaurant was very good. Also walking distance to other dining choices. Enjoyed the park across the street.

As you mentioned above, we do have a great location close to a myriad of amazing restaurants and activities. The Saint-Louis Square, right in front of the hotel, is a great place to enjoy the change in the weather, and the Latin Quarter, just a couple of blocks away, has many great restaurants to try out.

Spacious room, clean bathroom with a good shower. Very comfy beds. The breakfast very good and love the nicely set tables. All the staff very friendly. Next time in Montreal, this hotel will be my choice again.

I'm not particularly sure how this hotel is classified as a 4-star hotel, with the exception of the impeccable service in the restaurant. The room itself seemed more like a budget hotel as most of the decorations and furniture seemed a bit dated to me. The biggest issue I had with the room was the ancient A/C unit that didn't seem to cool the room down at all. I had it on the coldest setting on the max fan speed and yet I found myself hot quite often. It got to the point where I would keep the balcony door open before I went to sleep to really cool down the room, which is pretty bad considering that outside temps were in 4 - 5 Celsius range. This can be attributed to being my fault maybe as I do run quite hot and typically am a person who keeps my house and hotel rooms frigid. The best part was the location and breakfasts in the morning. I think for our next trip to Montreal we will find something in a similar location but will skip on the ITHQ Hotel. Not really sure if the value is there considering it's part school and part average hotel. If those things don't bother you then feel free to book (so long as the price is good, I wouldn't pay over $150 USD/night), otherwise, look elsewhere.

You will be happy to know however, that our rooms are set to be completely renovated during the next year, including our ventilation system! Everybody has different tastes, but this is no reason for all of our guests to be comfortable!
Your comfort inside and outside the room is what makes you feel at home and our room renovations will take care of just that!
