My partner and I stayed four nights at the Vogue and thoroughly enjoyed it. The first night was covered by an AMEX Aspire free night certificate, and we paid for the additional three nights. As Hilton Diamond members, we received a continental breakfast each morning in Yama, the hotel's restaurant, but didn't receive a room upgrade due to a full house. The Vogue does not have an executive lounge.
Pros:
--Great location in downtown Montreal. The department store, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, and the Four Seasons Hotel are right across the street. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is two blocks away. The Time Out Market, one of our favorite casual dining venues, is about 5-6 blocks away. Two different Metro stops are within easy reach.
--Spacious, comfortable and quiet room with contemporary styling. Strong, consistent wifi and good room amenities, including a Nespresso coffee machine.
--Small but serviceable fitness room.
--Very friendly and helpful staff, especially in Yama during the breakfast service.
Cons:
--Our room was rather dark in the evenings. Ambient lighting was attractive but ineffectual for reading.
--No breakfast buffet. The continental breakfast on offer was very spare: A couple of croissants, juice, fruit and coffee/tea. Cold cereal can be substituted for the croissants. The remaining a la carte breakfast items are pretty pricey.
Overall, this is a great "boutique" hotel. Its inclusion in Hilton's Curio Collection is a plus, especially for Gold and Diamond members.
