The Chinese Lanterns light up, reflect and bedazzle after dark. Bundle up and enjoy this colorful spectacle. A short, easy walk from the Metro station. I was solo after dark, but felt completely safe with lots of other visitors on the sidewalks. Very nice gift shop and a little cafe. I was disappointed that the shops had no photos of the lantern display, but lots of good photo ops.

We went to see the Chinese lanterns and it was extraordinary. Go while it’s still light to see everything and stay while it is dark. So beautiful. Highly recommended
We enjoy our botanical gardens different times of the year. It’s especially nice seeing the cacti on a very cold day. And also when the weather turns nice after along cold stretch I spring.

Felt like we were ripped off on this. Too much work going on and they still charged full price. Insectarium is quite interesting and Chinese garden was good

The stunning night time display was amazing. We had friend stroll through during the day. But the nighttime they lit up the laterns and figures and many were floating in the small man made Lake.
Right across from the Olympic stadium... so...
Take the metro.

We were there during Halloween. The kids decorated pumpkins. All kinds were shown. Beautiful greenery and flowers.
