This place was quite a unique experience for us.(Aussies on holidays) All you can eat, not buffet, but ordered off their menu of 60 dishes, and table service. A great BYO restaurant, great variety of dishes, beautifully prepared, well priced at $30 pp.

Bistro Sawadika used to be Restaurant Buddha, located in a small strip mall at the corner of Marcel Laurin and Cote Vertu in St. Laurent. The food here is absolutely delicious. The tasting menu (all-you-can-eat), with over 60 choices, is well worth the $30, especially now that it's a Bring your Own Wine restaurant. Everything on the menu is fresh, cooked to perfection, tasty and served hot. The decor is breathtaking and the ambience warm. This restaurant has the potential for greatness but is obviously managed very poorly. The service here is horrible but we return over and over again because the food is exceptional. The restaurant is always packed on the weekends but there are never enough servers to go around. Waiting an hour and a half for your meal is not acceptable! If you go with the knowledge that you will wait for your food, your dining experience will be amazing. If you're short on time, this isn't the place for you.
Note to owners of Sawadika: Hire more waiters on the weekend and you won't lose any patrons.

Found this restaurent through a Groupon or some other deal like that. We were pleased to discover that for only 2$ more then what we pay in our favorite Thai restaurent, we could taste as many dishes as we wanted on their special menu. And it was delicios.

The decoration would really make a hit in Toronto where we went often a few years ago.
The service is great and they don't rush you. If you go to their web page you can even print a coupon for 15% reduction..pays the taxes! It's also a bring your own wine place.
