Fascinating, well-researched tour about the Bohemian and labour roots of Jewish Montreal. Recommended fo people familiar and unfamiliar with Canadian Jewish history.

We took this tour with Cassandra who is new to the work. She was amazingly generous and well prepared. We had 6 adults on our walking tour and ended up having lively conversations as we walked along. Cassandra shared great info and was warm and engaged. And we learned a different side of the city. Highly recommended

An outstanding tour that showed us so much of Montreal that we would have not otherwise seen—both past and present. Our guide Fabia was full of information and even had old photos for us to look at as she told us fascinating facts about various buildings and their histories and the people behind them. Every one in our group, including our teenage daughter, found the tour very interesting and we are all so glad that we got to take this tour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Montreal!

We walked up from downtown and got a good flavor as we entered the Mile End neighborhood. It's not a museum in the traditional sense. It's a small storefront in the historic area, with a small changing display area, and a snack bar. Dont be disappointed. What it does offer is knowledgable staff, and a series of walking tours through the area which really give you a feeling of the times, and personalities that shaped this community. We were only able to take one of the tours, but I would do them all if I had had the time.
