this is near the base of place jacques cartier in old montreal. you walk through a quaint old montreal building and out into a courtyard. the courtyard is actually the remnants of a hotel, hotel nelson, that used to be there. so you are surrounded by 4 walls and no roof, just some amazing weeping willow trees. no better place for ambiance. I love going there for a casual drink. sangria. food is light, and very quebequois.
