This place is huge. Large multiple bars which were nice looking and clean. However, their service was poor (no attention to customers), their wine just eh and their food just ok.

Thursday's used to be "the place to go on Crescent Street" It offered everything from a simple omelette & frites w/ steamed brocolli to great rack of lamb to tasty steak-parisien.
Closed for several years, the new Thursday's has reopened in the same location.
Last night 8 of us went for dinner. Service was cordial and reasonable. Atmosphere was very nice
I ordered rack of lamb rare. My partner ordered "onglet de boeuf" medium rare.
The rack of lamb came "blue" (raw) and was inedible. Roast potatoes were substituted with fries. Mixed veg.The onglet de boeuf came "very undercooked" (almost blue) as well. Not even close to rare (pink)
We did not send anything back, we did not complain, we simply abandoned the meal. When the waiter came by during the meal and saw the virtually untouched plates, he never said a word, never asked how we were doing, simply waited and when everyone else was finished cleared away our "full" plates

As a native Montrealer who used to visit the former Thursdays several times a year, I had hopes it would be close to its former self. Such was not the case.

The food was simply badly prepared and badly cooked.

I cannot recommend this restaurant as a decent place to dine and spend $$$.
Montreal has too many other great restaurants with great vale to choose from. Best to avoid Thursdays!

Nothing like a terrace and some tasty food to really make your summer. Thursday's was a nice pricey dinner. They have a Tuesday special for all you can eat leg of lamb. The guy just kept shaving it over my friend's plate. Portions aren't bad but could be bigger for the prices paid.

Service was good and everyone was accomadating to us English speakers. We also didn't even have to wait on a busy day for a spot on the terrace.

Taking a break from the Sherbrooke St Art display, we ventured down Crescent St to Thusdays' and found a table on the Terrace on the street. Service was prompt and polite. After ordering drinks, we read the menu to find that the beer & Burger were a combo, a switch in orders was accommodated and the Mexican Salad and Beer / Burger & Bud arr'd. Both items were well presented and very tasty.

Being on Crescent St in August on a warm and sunny day brought fond memories of times spent in Montreal. Will go back again.
